Flatrock Sand & Gravel is a family-owned landscaping materials supplier located in Columbus, Georgia. Ricky Catrett founded the company in 1992 after seeing that many local customers needed smaller quantities of sand, gravel and other materials instead of full truckloads. He opened a retail yard where customers could view materials before buying and purchase an amount that fit the size of the project.

Ricky's daughter, Tonya Bowie, joined Flatrock Sand & Gravel in 2000 and became part of the family operation. Since then, the company has continued serving homeowners, landscapers, builders, developers and contractors throughout Columbus, Muscogee County and surrounding communities. Customers rely on the yard for gravel, sand, river rock, granite, topsoil, mulch and other landscaping and masonry materials for residential and commercial work.



Flatrock operates a working retail yard with equipment used to screen, crush and load materials for customer pickups and company trucks. Customers can purchase material for smaller home projects or arrange larger quantities for contractor and commercial jobs, with pickup, hauling, delivery and installation options available. More than three decades after opening, Flatrock continues to give Columbus-area customers a local place to see materials, choose what fits the job and purchase the quantity they need.
